Bio – Personal Background

Axon Bower, also known as David Keenan, was born on the small island of Jersey in the English Channel. With Celtic blood from both parental sides (one Irish, one Scottish) it’s understandable that storytelling through song comes naturally to him. Those who have experienced injury will know how powerful a time it can be, none more so than Keenan who, back in 2013, suffered a broken neck and back. It was during this recovery time that he honed his songwriting skills, turning the misadventure into his creative advantage.

Thanks to the experience of waiting it out for his body to heal he acquired some valuable skills that he would apply to his process – commitment and patience.
